OMG

What the fuck up with Brooke being pregnant for the umpteenth time in her 50’s.

That story is played out, Brooke deserves more as a character.

And I ship Rick and Maya.

(Barely watch this show but yeah)

Listen when I saw that shit I was like “Brooke how you pregnant when your ass should be in menopause?” Then she begging Eric talmbout some “Please think about Katie.” I was like BITCH! You wasn’t thinking bout Katie when you was sleeping w/ her  husband. Foh. Brooke is just a flat character. Cheat, cry, repeat. And she tryna make it seem like she “care” about Eric when if Ridge was there she’d be having the convo with him so gtf.

And they hating on Maya/Rick so hard tho. I mean is it her fault that dudes be so thirsty? Lawd. Like it’s her fault or summin.

Wait so Rick is with ole girl, but he’s crushing on Maya?

please stop comparing black women in the music industry to each other. they don’t all have to talk about the same thing in their songs. they don’t have to dress the same. they don’t have to wear their hair the same. they don’t come from the same places. they don’t experience the same things. and that’s what makes them amazing and important to the growth of every other black woman out there.

i don’t give a shit what you look for in your music. don’t you dare strip other women of the right/the need to know that there’s more than just one type of black woman. i’m here for women like janelle and erykah but i am also for the solange’s, the rihanna’s, the nicki’s, the beyonce’s, the kelly rowland’s, etc. all of these black women who come from different walks of life and have different things to contribute to music are important.

they are examples of how different we are. we don’t have to be prim and proper, we don’t have to be perfect. we do not have to be your goddamn definition of a “black queen” because you do not get to dictate what we say, what we wear, what we do, or how we do it. at the end of the day it’s up to us and i think these women are displaying those messages through their music every single day. miss me with that comparison bullshit. if we had just one type of black woman in the industry, you niggas would be complaining. and if we had just one type of black woman in the world you niggas would still complain. can’t win for fucking losing. shit. i’m done, happy friday n shit.
